Thank you for your interest in volunteering with First Step Alliance.

If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of formerly incarcerated individuals and committed to giving people a real second chance, then volunteering with us may be right for you.

You can help in several ways, including community outreach, partner development, digital marketing, content creation, and fundraising.

Start the process by completing the Volunteer Interest form.

We will contact you shortly to discuss opportunities based on your background, interests and skills. Volunteers typically need to be 18 years of age or older, however, with a signed consent from a parent or guardian we will consider your application.

Community outreach

Help connect us with returning citizens and supporting organizations. Our programs can only be effective if we continue to build community awareness.

Partnership opportunities

Help us increase our network of supporting organizations and program partners. Our goal is to expand our outreach to re-entry programs nationwide.

Content Creation

Do you write blogposts or articles? Help us add educational resources and relevant content for our community.

Social media marketing

Increasing community awareness is extremely important, and social media is a great way to communicate with many people. Help us implement a thoughtful and informative social media strategy on platforms like Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.

Fundraising

Sponsor events or birthday fundraisers on social media to help raise money to support our mission and initiatives.
